Needle Felted Creatures with Dana Karuza-Tulp

June 24th, from 10 - 11

Location: The Masonic Hall, in Craftsbury

Participants are invited to make a small felted gnome, animal or creature from their own imagination! Ideas have no boundaries in this class. Come and spend a morning creating with wool from a sheep. Children ages 8 to 12.

Needle Felted Tapestries with Dana Karuza-Tulp

June 24th, from 12:30 - 2pm

Location: The Masonic Hall

Learn to use different tools used for needle felting and create a small tapestry using a diverse palette of wool colors. Participants will be given ideas and inspirations for projects that can be created using a needle felted technique. Tips will be given on composition, color, texture and material use. Ages 12 to adult

Hatha Yoga with Sophia Barsalow

July 7, 14, 21 & 28, from 10:30 - 11:45

Location: Community Greenspace, 321 South Craftsbury rd.

Breath-centered Hatha Yoga with Sophia Barsalow is accessible to all levels and students of yoga looking to cultivate strength, flexibility, and balance. Through creative yoga sequences and class themes, Sophia's mindful approach to yoga teaches students to explore informed alignment techniques, cultivate body awareness, and to reveal inner truths and intuitive wisdom Come as you are, be your self, and experience the moving meditation that is Hatha Yoga.

Watercolor Painting with Susan Sawyer

July 3, 10, & 17, from 9:30am - 12 pm

Location: The Town Hall, in Craftsbury

Summer's the perfect time to slow down, savor the present, and make a record of the garden, the woods, or your vacation. This class will focus on using watercolor -- 
by itself, and with pencil and pen drawings, close up and at landscape scale. We'll work from natural objects, flowers, leaves, shells, sticks, mushrooms, berries, and so on; occasionally from photographs, or outdoors from the landscape. All levels of experience are welcome.

Needles Felted Tapestries 2 with Dana Karuza-Tulp

July 22 - 10am to 1pm

Location: The Masonic Hall

A supportive studio environment will be set up for students to work on needle felted projects. This class is perfect for the participant who wants the time and materials available to pursue individual projects. There will be a student critique aiming to help move creative ideas and inspirations along. A palette of wool colors will be available to work with. Students will learn to work with pre felt and see a wet felted demonstration on how to make it. Beginners and students who have participated in the Needle felted tapestries class are welcome. Ages 12 to adult

Mosaics with Bill Tulp

August 3, 10, & 17, from 5:30 - 8 pm

Location: The Masonic Hall, in Craftsbury

Participants will have an opportunity to make colorful mosaic designs, choosing from a wide array of colors and hues of stained glass pieces. Learn different techniques of cutting and arranging the stained glass pieces and then glue & grout your final design! After four-weeks go home with a truly unique mosaic, feel free to bring design ideas or create one in class!

Painting with Bill Tulp

August 1 & 8, from 6 - 8 pm

Location: The Masonic Hall, in Craftsbury

Bill Tulp received a degree from East Carolina University in painting and printmaking. He has been a teaching artist for the past few years. Teaching classes at Catamount Arts, Lyndon State College & Becket Schools (in New Hampshire).

Fee: $50
